Osteopathic Manual Therapist

Welcome new and past patients of Benoit Noel. I have been in transition with some patients of the Integra team since the fall of 2021 and I have been practicing Osteopathy for over four years in Ontario. I am dedicated to Osteopathy and I am convinced of its role in helping people achieve wellness – from pain relief to immune support – everybody is receptive to osteopathic manual treatments. When not at the clinic, you’ll find me exploring this beautiful new province I now call home!

Are you new to Osteopathy and unfamiliar with it? Keep reading below to learn more about how Osteopathy may help you!

What is Osteopathic Manual Therapy?

Osteopathic manual therapy is rooted in the belief that abnormal functioning of one area of the body may cause symptoms to present elsewhere in the body. Moving beyond symptomatic treatment, Osteopaths are trained in identifying often subtle, but important clinical connections in various parts of your body – helping you to understand how all aspects of your health are related. Most people are fascinated to learn restoring proper mechanics in one area of the body dramatically improves function elsewhere.

Osteopathic manual therapy uses gentle techniques to restore proper mechanics to joints, the nervous system and organs. By encouraging optimal flow of fluids in the body, this method of treatment naturally aids the body in resolving a variety of health concerns. Infants, children, athletes and the elderly benefit greatly from osteopathic therapy.

Some health concerns often treated:

  • Physical pain

  • Heartburn

  • Constipation

  • Anxiety

  • Insomnia

  • Newborn torticollis and flat head/asymmetry of the skull
